Lady Cab Drive – Prince – Bass and Percussion Tracks

Here’s a cover of Lady Cab Drive by Prince with the bass and percussion tracks only (bass tabs are here).

I fumbled around on a Yamaha RX15 drum machine (manufactured circa 1980) for the percussion tracks. If anyone wants to send me a better percussion track, I’ll send the bass track.

This song didn’t get as much radio play as some of the others on the 1999 album (Little Red Corvette, 1999). But it’s one of my favorites. I love the funky bass line played by Prince. Prince played all of the instruments to all of the songs on this album, which a testament to his genius.
