Bass Songs for Beginners – The Chain – Fleetwood Mac

Bass Songs for Beginners – The Chain – Fleetwood Mac – > The bass line really stands out in this song and defines its sound. As the song heads in to the ending section (coda) the bass plays solo in a crescendo with other parts filling in towards the climax of the song. The bass part essentially drives the song. It’s a recognizable bass line that people know instantly. The bass line throughout the song is relatively easy to play, even during the solo and crescendo. It’s a great song to learn for beginner bass players, and a lot of fun to play.

Here’s a bass lesson for “The Chain” – courtesy of Clay’s Bass Lessons. I really dig Clay’s lessons because they include tabs, notation, and a backing track. Have fun!
